DEMAT Audrey

Interior designer since 2010, Audrey Demat trained at the Mons School of Fine Arts in Belgium. Multidisciplinary and passionate, her training also focused on object and furniture design.

During her career, Audrey Demat has collaborated with other interior designers and carpentry workshops where she designed furniture, exhibition stands, shops and restaurants. As a handywoman, this interior designer has renovated a house herself, allowing her to understand the technical aspect of her job in a better way.

Audrey Demat distinguishes herself by a minimalist, sometimes organic style. This interior designer likes simple lines and beautiful curves that echo nature. However, it is more often the place that inspires a style, and in this case, she can go for anything else, play with colours, kitsch, quirky, retro, modern, everything is welcome when the place lends itself to it and it coincides with the person who lives there.

Passionate and creative, she likes to imagine spaces, to optimize them, to make your life more practical and pleasant, in a house that looks like you and in which you feel a good energy.

Sensitive to nature and all the wonders it contains, Audrey Demat is concerned about the future of our planet and tries as much as possible to integrate this aspect into the design process and the choice of materials. This interior designer favours sustainable materials and, as far as possible, those produced in Europe. Recycling and reuse of furniture are also part of her design. Audrey Demat likes to hunt down and play with different eras, which sometimes leads to unexpected associations.

In addition to interior architecture and space planning, Audrey Demat designs small-scale wooden lighting fixtures. Nature is for her a great source of inspiration, its curves, its soft light and sometimes marked by strong contrasts, are all elements that energize her creativity.
