CABANE(S) ARCHITECTURE is available for new projects

Founded in 2024, CABANE(S) ARCHITECTURE is an interior architecture, design, scenography, and urban planning studio that designs and fits out public and private living spaces, ranging from the creation of a single object (bookshelves, walk-in closets, headboard bridges, radiator covers, etc.) to the complete renovation of spaces (houses, apartments, retail spaces, hotels, etc.).

For each project, Raphaël COLAS, founder and project director, immerses himself in the site to understand its history and character. He then initiates the creative process through a series of sketches—and sometimes a scale model to explore volume—which he subsequently presents to the architects he collaborates with. These exchanges generate a wide range of ideas, based on the belief that “we are never as intelligent as when we work together.”

Whether residential or commercial, each project is unique and unlike any other, as bespoke design, a close relationship with craftsmanship, a dialogue with art, and the use of the site’s memory form the foundations of CABANE(S) ARCHITECTURE’s work.

While many interior architects today delegate the execution of works, CABANE(S) ARCHITECTURE embraces this responsibility with a deliberate and unwavering commitment. The completed projects are intended to reflect the precision and care with which each commission is approached.

Determined not to rely solely on sometimes biased opinions or often retouched photographs, CABANE(S) ARCHITECTURE opened MAISON CÈDRE to the public in 2025—a 165 m² experimental house in Boulogne-Billancourt, available to visit and rent for overnight stays or events such as exhibitions, film shoots, photo sessions, or chef-hosted dinners. Also serving as an office and showroom, MAISON CÈDRE allows clients to experience the studio’s work firsthand—whether joinery, metalwork, or ceramics—touch materials, and test lighting fixtures, sofas, or coffee tables.
