ZMKN Studio supports private clients, professionals and brands with their design, renovation, interior architecture and creative projects, taking a 360° approach to design and spaces.

From residential properties to professional and commercial spaces, the studio creates distinctive environments, as well as furniture, objects and brand identities. Each project is tailored to its specific objectives, challenges and context, from the initial concept through to its realisation. The goal is to create coherent, distinctive and memorable environments in which every element contributes to the same overall experience.

Trained and qualified in architecture (DE-HMONP), Samia BENCHEKROUN developed ZMKN Studio at the intersection of architecture and design. My experience working on high-end projects within a Parisian architecture practice, from design through to project delivery, has been built around renovation, interior design and hospitality projects. My background has also led me to develop expertise in product design, branding and art direction.

This dual approach allows me to consider a project as a whole — from space to object, and from identity to experience — while paying particular attention to the details that make all the difference. I enjoy bringing creativity and technical rigour together: understanding constraints, anticipating practical challenges, considering how spaces will be used, and carefully working on materials, proportions and details so that the concept remains relevant when confronted with the realities of implementation.

Budget is also an integral part of the design process. I aim to optimise every decision, prioritise what matters most and focus investment where it will have the greatest impact, without compromising the quality or personality of the project. A well-managed budget does not limit ambition; it encourages greater creativity, precision and strategic thinking.
