AURÉLIE GODIN

Aurélie GODIN has had a passion for architecture and interior design since she was a child, building models from the age of 9, a passion that developed in her art classes at secondary school. There she discovered drawing (perspective) as well as painting, graphic design and the art of model building.

It was therefore quite natural for Aurélie GODIN to study design after obtaining her scientific baccalauréat. She went to LISAA, a design school, to begin her training with a MANAA. This first year of study in the applied arts enabled her to explore different types of art, including graphic design, fashion and architecture.

After this first year, Aurélie went on to do a BTS in spatial design at the same school. These two years of study immersed her in a studious atmosphere, with the learning of technical plans, drawings with different perspectives and 3D software (Autocad, sketchup, Artlantis) and design software (Indesign, Photoshop). These 2 years culminated in a work placement lasting several weeks in an architectural practice in Angers. During this placement, she was able to put to good use the skills she had acquired during her studies. 

After this first year, Aurélie went on to do a BTS in space design at the same school. After obtaining her BTS, Aurélie GODIN decided to take a CQP course in kitchen sales and design for the Arthur Bonnet brand. This 9-month course included a work-study placement, which Aurélie completed in the Arthur Bonnet showroom in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

This complex training, centred on the world of kitchens, enabled her to integrate notions of sales and communication with design and layout, while taking into account the technical aspects (architectural structure, furniture structure, electrical appliances).

Following this conclusive experience, Aurélie officially joined the showroom's sales and design team.

Her job consisted of managing a project from A to Z, starting with welcoming customers and working with them to determine their project, their wishes and their needs, while presenting the brand and its qualities. 

Then came the time for a study of their project, which was accompanied by hand sketches to show the clients the different layout possibilities and then to define a type of layout and an atmosphere (moodboard).

Following this initial meeting, Aurélie produced various plans using Winner software, as well as photo-realistic renderings to present the entire project to the customer at the next meeting. Once the project had been accepted, Aurélie travelled to the site to take measurements of the space and see the various technical conditions in the room, so that she could draw up technical plans and update them if necessary.

She would also take orders from suppliers (furniture and electrical appliances), and then draw up a schedule for deliveries and installation, or even the work itself. Aurélie was responsible for finishing off the project with customers and service providers.

Today, Aurélie GODIN wants to put her experience and passion for decorating to good use for a new clientele, to help make all your life projects a reality.
